Educational Consultation and Advocacy
Because of my background as a special education teacher, teacher trainer, and behavior specialist, I have intimate knowledge of education and possibilities for accommodations for your child. A huge part of my doctoral program was training as a school psychologist; therefore I am also familiar with legal requirements for obtaining special education and 504 services.
If you are concerned about how your child is doing in school I can help as an educational consultant and advocate. I can work with you and your child’s teacher on ways to best meet your child’s needs at school. I can also help improve the collaboration and communication between you and your child’s teacher.
